Hi there!
Taking the first step forward towards healing, self-knowledge, and stronger relationships can feel overwhelming or confusing so give yourself some kudos for making it this far!
My name is Rachel Burns and I am a clinical social worker who has more than four years of experience working with children, teens, families, and individuals with concerns ranging from ADHD, anxiety, depression, and complex PTSD.
I grew up and grew into myself in the soil of Blythewood, SC so I’m honored to return and serve my home community. Using playfulness, curiosity, and compassionate challenging, I provide a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to the whole person, knowing that messiness is an essential tool for change. I seek to provide a sense of feeling seen and heard deeply in each interaction with clients.
