Our psychotherapists are masters level licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, and licensed marriage and family therapists. But they are more than that: they bring warm personalities, a “realness” and an appreciation for the enormous honor and responsibility it is that you have chosen to work with us.
I hope that my young clients will find value in focusing on their mental health.
Welcome! My name is Alysha Walker.
My focus has been working with children and adolescents (ages 5 and up) through challenging times in their lives. My passion is to help them heal and discover healthy ways to cope in order to have the life they dream of. It is an honor to be a part of their journey.
As a psychotherapist, it is my goal to help my client find peace and success. I hope that my young clients will find value in focusing on their mental health. It is so important to create healthy habits while they are young, developing problem solving skills and learning how to process their feelings in a safe environment.
I always involve parents in my work with kids. We figure out together how and to what extent. I’m happy to meet alone with mom and dad, too. Often they need just as much support as their kids do.
I am a Certified School Counselor and have over three years working in a school setting with children, adolescents and their families.
