Hello! I am Lindsay McCary, a licensed psychologist specializing in autism and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. I am also an educator and researcher. I recently moved back to South Carolina after spending 11 years in Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults when there is a question of autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities. A comprehensive evaluation includes assessment for other common co-occurring conditions, such as anxiety and/or ADHD.
My goal is to help individuals and their families understand their unique communication, socialization, and learning style to develop a positive self-identity. I know there is power in knowledge and information, and by understanding yourself and/or your child better, there are increased possibilities leading to a positive quality of life. I was trained as a school psychologist, and love collaborating with school teams and other professionals through the evaluation process.
I look forward to working with you!
