You may feel overwhelmed by past experiences, pressure to keep performing, or stuck carrying memories and emotions that never seem to fully go away. Therapy can offer a space where you feel safe to slow down, process what you’ve been through, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.
I use a humanistic, trauma-informed approach integrating cognitive-behavioral strategies and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is an eye movement therapy that helps you process trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences without having to share every detail. Through this process, difficult memories can begin to feel less emotionally and physically overwhelming, creating more freedom and peace.
My experience as a professional athlete has given me a deep appreciation for the emotional and mental demands that can come with performance, pressure, and identity. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing process. I also value integrating spirituality and faith into counseling when these areas are important to you.
