I’m a firm believer in empowerment as the root of growth and healing. You’re all the things you already want to be, even if you don’t feel like it today. And that’s the strength that brought you here to therapy. With a little compassion towards your struggles, I believe you can tackle what’s to come. And I can’t wait to witness your transformation.
My therapeutic approach is Adlerian and Person-Centered, which means I value and acknowledge the impact your family, your culture, and your community have had in shaping your present-day self. When I’m working with clients, I’m working with the whole person – the culmination of everything that has made you who you are.
I’ve used this approach to work with youth and adult clients, in managing trauma, anxiety, disabilities, or personal issues. I’m not here to define where you need to be; I’m here to listen to where you want to go.
Don’t worry about being messy. That’s what therapy is! But therapy is also courageous and liberating. On your journey, I won’t take you anywhere I have not been or would not willingly go as well. So just bring yourself, and let’s sort through it all together.
