Amy is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, Adolescent Therapy, and in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a trauma treatment approach.

You can meet with Amy in our Lexington Office on Mondays (in person) and Tuesdays (Telehealth), or in Columbia on Wednesday and Thursdays.

Did you know--the percentage of men going to counseling or therapy is on the rise. And this is great news!

In 2019, 7.2% of men said they had received counseling or therapy from a mental health professional such as a psychiatrist, psychologist, psychiatric nurse, or clinical social worker in past 12 months (data from the CDC).

In 2020, that number was up to 8%. That means about 13 million American men went to therapy in 2020.

Taking care of your mental health is a key part of your overall health. Men have mental health needs just like everyone else does and Jill Smith + Associates can help.
