I feel honored to be chosen to be a part of your journey to recognize and remove those barriers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I respect and value my clients. We all have to interact and succeed in so many \u201csystems\u201d (home, work, friends, family). There are many layers of experience that have created who we are, how we feel, and why we do things.&nbsp;I want to work together with you to be able to think and feel something a little different when you leave each session with me.&nbsp;I want you to be able to navigate all those systems and understand all those layers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In session with me I hope you find me calming, patient, and validating.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clinical Experience:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I have lived in South Carolina for two decades now, but grew up in the midwest. Guided by a true passion to become a psychotherapist, I went back to school later in life, when my kids began elementary school. During and after my studies, I was intentional about working with different populations to guide my future clinical practice. Among those are neuro-developmental disabilities with an autism focus and a community mental health center counseling children, adolescents, and families. All of my work experience has given me a strong clinical foundation.
