“We do not think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking.” – Richard Rohr
After 15 years of working with all different kinds of people in state government (lowincome individuals, minority groups, caregivers, seniors, heads of Fortune 500 companies, rural and urban), I made the decision to pursue my dream and become a counselor. I obtained my LPC and have never looked back. After all how could I encourage anyone else to do something I am unwilling to do myself?
This is my philosophy as a therapist as well. I will never encourage someone to do something I haven’t done myself. Life is a journey…. an experience not a destination or finish line. Life is fully experienced through relationships and relationships are best experienced when we are willing to learn about ourselves fully so that we may learn to love others fully.
Everyone needs a witness, partner or advocate during this journey. I am honored when people ask me to walk that journey with them. I look forward to walking with you.
